Lizardmeister the Seventh by Mop-of-the-Bucket Lizardmeister the Seventh by Mop-of-the-Bucket
This is roughly the seventh lizard I've seen since moving to Brisbane. This is the sort of creature I've should have been seeing when I was at home, not in the middle of a freakin' city. I suppose the Botanical Gardens makes sense for them, but I saw another just randomly crawling along on top of a cement wall in a more built up area.
My friend tells me that the lizards I've been seeing are iguanas and so I'll take her word for it. My lizard knowledge is not so great, and my ability to define any lizard I see is limited to describing it as awesome to very awesome. Since they're lizards I don't think I'll ever encounter a situation where not-so-awesome can be applied.

Addendum: I saw my eight lizard after taking this photo. It was lazing on some cement next to the fountain pond in the Gardens.
Addendum addendum: I didn't bother taking a photo.
